This is a fantastic interview with Pixar's president Ed Catmull by Martin Giles from the Economist.
So apparently the video won't embedded on my blog paper..hmm :\
Well, I seen it here first:

There's a whole lot of great stuff in this video. But three things I got from the is:
1) The team needs to trust the process.
2) Assume that there is something that needs fixing that you just haven't recognized yet.
3) Take failure as an opportunity to do it right.
Soon I'm going to go back and actually take my own notes on the video but this Scott Berkun has some good ones.
Scott also linked this man's notes.
Michael Sippey: http://www.sippey.com/2010/04/creative-vision-leadership-and-pixar.html
Then Sippey linked this Harvard Business Review Article with Ed Catmull about creativity:http://hbr.org/2008/09/how-pixar-fosters-collective-creativity/ar/1
Which then links to this audio interview with Mr. Catmull:

Another thing Ed Catmull talked about in the video interview is the balance of the business and artistic cultures. And we need to pull from both of them evenly in order to stay successful (and soulful) I think keeping this kind of balance was one of the reasons why Walt Disney was so successful. Learning how to balance these two cultures is also the one of reasons why I'm taking business classes in addition to character animation class at CalArts.
Again I think this is great stuff. But I still think Bruce Lee explains all of this the best ;)
