I was watching Miyazaki's Spirited Away and I wondering what Wesha Takanaka would look like younger? Then I drew a 12 year old Wesha in that iconic Chihiro pose. This space jumper is from another idea I was writing earlier. Hope y'all can dig.

Chun Hwa -- Sunny

My Netflix suggested that I watch a movie called Sunny. It's a Korean movie that follows a neighborhood girl gang in Seoul, South Korea in the 1980's. I really enjoyed the characters. I had an urge to draw the leader, Chun Hwa.

This "RAD and the Sword of Dream" presentation trailer, was experimental project I wrote, storyboarded and designed, for fun, while at CalArts. It's original purpose was just to work with the talented designer Tiffany Ford. I'm a fan of her work, and I wanted a story I created (RAD and the Sword of Dreams) to look like her artwork. However, once we started sharing the concepts Tiffany and I were working on, others wanted to join us. I was humble by the talented and amazing people that helped me. I had a lot of fun getting to know the crew and working with them. Thank you.
