Blogging Bah-humbug!

I come to realize that I really don't like blogging. I don't hate the concept of blogging. I just don't like doing it myself. This is the reason why?

Let's imagine that I'm a Chef, with an incredible idea for a new dish to serve. Now to make this dish I would have to go find incredible fruits and and vegetables, chop them up, mix them in the sauce, and let is marinade before cooking.

For me blogging is a lot like serving an undercooked dish. Which means it can be good, but it's still undercooked.

Nevertheless, blogging is a now a social norm in the art world.

Here are some early drawings for a detective character in the world of Project Gunkash. I want the character to be an Asian character that actually looks obiviously Asian. However, I'm still searching for the right ingredients.

Kash's Co-worker.

These are a couple of early drawings for a character from this gunkash world I've been cooking up. I have a name for her but I don't want to share it yet. She is one of Kash's co-workers.

SOLAR FORCE FIVE: Kash's Past

Before "The Clone Emancipation Laws",a younger Kash was force to represent her High School in a pretesigous sport known as "meching". This sport is where giant robot crews of five, battle against other giant robots crews for honor and glory. The crew she was apart of earned the nickname Solar Force Five during the "Moon Madness" tournament. Kash, at this time, didn't care about the crew. The only reason why she wanted to win the tournment is to meet the mysterious Razor, the bass guitarist of Martian funk band MORK. MORK played at the championship.

Hands

Taking someone's hand can be a very powerful expression of love. I made this as a reminder of what the stories with these characters are really about. Even if there are giant robots, martians, and space monsters, it's about the complications of sisterly love.

Blogging Again

So blogging seems to have become a social normality. At least with my artistic friends it has. I haven't blogged in awhile because of a few reasons. One of them is because youtube demanded that all my storyreels be taking down.( Broke my heart, however, understandable because I used copyright music. I'll put them back up when I can hire someone to score them.) And another reason is because I wanted to make a website for my work. Well, I still haven't made one so...blogging again.

These drawing are just shot ideas for a story idea that I have with my characters KASH and CHONG. (They are not in sequential order. Just compositions)I wasn't going to post them until I finished storyboarding the whole sequence, but I figuared I can always edit the post later. Hope ya'll dig!
